The process starts with the SERVICE APPLICATION
recording receipt of a homeowner notice
(letter, email, call, etc).
The Service Application is the "container"
for individual items - and each item becomes
a WORK ORDER - for Field Service review and/or
repair or subcontractor assignment.
The Service Application notes the
TYPE OF NOTICE and can contain comments or
file attachments including pictures and drawings.
Typically, the Field Service Rep VERIFIES whether
or not the item is WARRANTABLE, repairs the item,
if possible, or ASSIGNS a contractor for the repair.
The Field Service Rep receives Work Orders in a
Service Request Report via fax, email or
hardcopy - or via SQL WarrantyWatcher's
WALKWRITE PDA application.
If WalkWrite is
utilized, the Service Rep VIEWS HOMEOWNER
information on the PDA, REVIEWS Work Orders,
RECORDS progress and, optionally, assigns
subcontractors - at the job-site!
At the END OF THE DAY, after the homeowner's
request items have been verified and
subcontractor assignments made, SQL
WarrantyWatcher creates and distributes
Work Orders to subcontractors.
Subs can be pre-set for "AUTO-NOTIFICATION"
by either fax or email - or as hard copy
Work Orders recipients.
And, WALKWRITE syncs in
and receives NEW REQUESTS.
DETAILED BUYER INFORMATION can be input
into SQL WARRANTYWATCHER and is readily
accessible using the QUICKFIND tool - or
is immediately accessible as a result of
SQL SALESBUILDER use.

Detailed notes and comments can be kept, as well.
